Id Description
12377 Microsoft Windows NT DHCP Message Length Remote Overflow

A remote overflow exists in Microsoft Windows NT Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. The server fails to properly check the HardwareAddress value in the handling of DHCP request traffic and allows execution of arbitrary code. With a specially crafted DHCP request to a DHCP server, a remote attacker can cause a buffer overflow resulting in a loss of integrity.
