Detail

Cisco SA 500 Series Security Appliances are affected by two vulnerabilities on their web-based management interface. An attacker must have valid credentials for an affected device to exploit one vulnerability; exploitation of the other does not require authentication. Both vulnerabilities can be exploited over the network.

Cisco has released free software updates that address these vulnerabilities.

Workarounds that mitigate these vulnerabilities are available.

Id Description
73987 Cisco SA 500 Series Web Management Interface Unspecified Command Execution

73986 Cisco SA 500 Series Web Management Interface Login Form SQL Injection

Cisco SA 500 Series contains a flaw in the Web Management Interface that may allow an attacker to carry out an SQL injection attack. The issue is due to the program not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'Login' form. This may allow an attacker to inject or manipulate SQL queries in the back-end database, allowing for the manipulation or disclosure of arbitrary data.
