A remote overflow exists in Microsoft Media Player. Media Player fails to handle an unusually long marker embedded in an .ASF file resulting in a buffer overflow. With a specially crafted request, an attacker can cause Media Player to crash or execute arbitrary code resulting in a loss of integrity or availability.
