| "felinemalice" discovered an integer overflow in BMV, a post script viewer for SVGAlib, that may lead to the execution of arbitrary code through specially crafted Postscript files. For the old stable distribution (woody) this problem has been fixed in version 1.2-14.3. For the stable distribution (sarge) this problem has been fixed in version 1.2-17sarge1. For the unstable distribution (sid) this problem has been fixed in version 1.2-18. We recommend that you upgrade your bmv package. |
