Kevin Finisterre discovered a format string vulnerability in gpsdrive, a car navigation system, that can lead to the execution of arbitrary code. The old stable distribution (woody) does not contain gpsdrive packages. For the stable distribution (sarge) this problem has been fixed in version 2.09-2sarge1. For the unstable distribution (sid) this problem has been fixed in version 2.09-2sarge1. We recommend that you upgrade your gpsdrive package. |
