Detail

Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in modfile.php in Event Horizon (EVH) 1.1.10, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) YourEmail and (2) VerificationNumber parameters, which are not properly handled in a forced SQL error message. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.

Open Source Vulnerability Database (OSVDB)

Id Description
66608 Event Horizon modfile.php Multiple Parameter XSS

Event Horizon contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the 'YourEmail' and 'VerificationNumber' parameters upon submission to the 'modfile.php' script. This may allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between their browser and the server.
