Detail

A vulnerability has been found and corrected in cacti:

SQL injection vulnerability in templates_export.php in Cacti 0.8.7e and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the export_item_id parameter (CVE-2010-1431).

Additionally cacti has been upgraded to 0.8.7e for Corporate Server 4.

The updated packages have been patched to correct this issue.

Cacti contains a flaw that may allow an attacker to carry out an SQL injection attack. The issue is due to the 'templates_export.php' script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'export_item_id' parameter. This may allow an attacker to inject or manipulate SQL queries in the back-end database, allowing for the manipulation or disclosure of arbitrary data.
