Detail

Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in phpMyAdmin 2.6.0-pl2 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the PmaAbsoluteUri parameter, (2) the zero_rows parameter in read_dump.php, (3) the confirm form, or (4) an error message generated by the internal phpMyAdmin parser.

Open Source Vulnerability Database (OSVDB)

Id Description
12238 phpMyAdmin Error Message XSS

PhpMyAdmin contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the internal phpMyAdmin parser does not sanitize the error message sent. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
11932 phpMyAdmin Confirm Page Form Multiple Parameter XSS

phpMyAdmin contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate multiple variables upon submission to the confirm page form. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
11931 phpMyAdmin read_dump.php zero_rows Parameter XSS

phpMyAdmin contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate 'zero_rows' variables upon submission to the 'read_dump.php' script. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
11930 phpMyAdmin config.inc.php PmaAbsoluteUri Parameter XSS

phpMyAdmin contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate 'PmaAbsoluteUri' variables upon submission to the 'config.inc.php' script. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
