Software Description: - net-snmp: SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) server and applications Details: USN-3792-1 fixed a vulnerability in Net-SNMP. This update provides the corresponding update for Ubuntu 12.04 ESM. Original advisory details: ﾃつ It was discovered that Net-SNMP incorrectly handled certain certain ﾃつ crafted packets. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to ﾃつ cause Net-SNMP to crash, resulting in a denial of service.
