Detail
Huzaifa Sidhpurwala discovered a buffer overflow in Wireshark's ERF dissector, which could lead to the execution of arbitrary code. For the oldstable distribution (lenny), this problem has been fixed in version wireshark 1.0.2-3+lenny16. For the stable distribution (squeeze), this problem has been fixed in version 1.2.11-6+squeeze5. For the unstable distribution (sid), this problem has been fixed in version 1.6.3-1. We recommend that you upgrade your wireshark packages. |
