Detail
It was discovered that Cacti, a frontend to rrdtool for monitoring systems and services missed input sanitising, making an SQL injection attack possible. For the stable distribution (lenny), this problem has been fixed in version 0.8.7b-2.1+lenny2. For the unstable distribution (sid), this problem will be fixed soon. We recommend that you upgrade your cacti package. |

63967 | Cacti templates_export.php export_item_id Parameter SQL Injection Cacti contains a flaw that may allow an attacker to carry out an SQL injection attack. The issue is due to the 'templates_export.php' script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the 'export_item_id' parameter. This may allow an attacker to inject or manipulate SQL queries in the back-end database, allowing for the manipulation or disclosure of arbitrary data. |
